1/2 sifted flour
1 cup butter (see butter recipe)
3 cups chopped onions
3 cups unsweetened soy milk
2 teaspoons salt
In a pan, melt the butter and add your onions. On medium heat, continue to stir and allow the onions to brown. Once the onions are brown, slowly sift in your flour and stir until well combined. Then, one cup at a time, stir in your milk. Once your milk is combined in your gravy, add your salt and stir in. Use gravy as needed.
For a thinner gravy, continue to add milk until you get the consistency you desire.
